Internship Summer 2011 Performance Based Workflow Analysis + Implementation
This research project among three student interns at Clark Nexsen involved the development of a detailed workflow to maximize building performance during the initial design phases using a given site, building size and program. Drawing from collaborative research and using a range of building analysis software, the team worked with architects and engineers to determine the best placement of integral design decisions. The workflow was utilized initially for a new dorm at Virginia Tech, and then implemented again in a proposal for a barracks at West Point.
